One (1) lot Construction of Concrete Footings and Roofing for Four (4) units Container Vans

TERMS OF REFERENCE
CONSTRUCTION OF CONCRETE FOOTINGS AND ROOFING FOR FOUR (4) UNITS 40-FOOTER CONTAINER VANS

1. GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) for Subic-Clark Railway Project (SCRP) requires a professional services and prospective contractors to submit quotation for the Construction of a Concrete Footings and Roofing for four (4) units container vans at BCDA Project Management Office in Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga.

2. THE BID
The Contractor shall submit its bid containing the original, certified true copy, or photocopy signed by the bidder of the following documents:
2.1 Request for Quotation Form (Annex “A”)
2.2 Omnibus Sworn Statement (Annex B”)
2.3 Company Profile with list of clients for the past three years
2.4 PCAB License: (minimum)
    2.4.1 General Building Category D, Small B, or
    2.4.2 Specialty SP-CC and SP-MS, Small B
2.5 Valid Mayor’s / Business Permit
2.6 DTI or SEC Registration
2.7 PhilGEPS Registration number

3. SCOPE OF WORK
Supply of labor, expendable materials, tools, equipment, supervision and personal protective equipment (PPE) to perform a complete and safe job. The Contractor agrees to do all the work in accordance with the plans/drawings, specifications, and performance standards and in accordance with good building practice, any and all civic, municipal and provincial laws and codes pertaining thereto and to the satisfaction of BCDA.
3.1 Mobilization - The Contractor shall obtain a construction permit with the assistance from SCRP personnel.
3.2 Description of Work
3.2.1 Clearing, layout and excavation for foundation
3.2.2 Soil Poisoning
3.2.3 Backfilling (suitable backfill materials)
3.2.4 Gravel bedding
3.2.5 Masonry works
3.2.6 Reinforcing steel bar
3.2.7 Structural concrete 3,500 psi
3.2.8 Metal works (steel trusses and roof framing)
3.2.9 Roofing
3.3 Demobilization

4. OCULAR INSPECTION
In coordination with SCRP personnel, prospective bidders must ensure that they have undertaken an ocular inspection of the site and clearly understand the works involved prior to submission of quotation.
Location Address: BCDA PMO in Clark is at Bldg 7458 J. Topacio St., Claro M. Recto Hiway, Manual L. Quezon Ave, Clark Freeport Economic Zone, Pampanga.

5. APPROVED BUDGET FOR THE CONTRACT
One Million (Php 1,000,000.00), inclusive of VAT and all other applicable government taxes, charged to the 2019 approved Budget of the SCRP.

6. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE
The Contractor shall be required to commence within five (5) after the date receives the Notice to Proceed (NTP). Complete the entire work ready for use not later than fifty (50) calendar days.

7. MANNER OF PAYMENT
The Contractor shall bill BCDA after the completion of the project, subject to retention of ten percent (10%) referred to as “retention money” as stipulated in Item 9 of this TOR.

8. WARRANTY
The installation and materials of all civil works shall warrant during a one-year period from the date of the final acceptance by SCRP.

9. RETENTION MONEY
The obligation for the warranty shall be covered by retention money in an amount equivalent to ten percent (10%) of the total contract price. Said amount shall only be released after the lapse of the warranty period.
