Subject : NOTICE OF AWARD - Construction of Airport to NCC Access Spur Road

Dear Mr. Ponio:

The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) hereby awards the contract for the Construction of Airport to NCC Access Spur Road (Expansion of Clark Bamban Access Road, Road 2A, Road 2B and Road 4A) to the JOINT VENTURE OF BSP & CO., INC. & ALMERIA INTERNATIONAL CONSTRUCTION CORP., for the amount of PESOS: SIX HUNDRED TEN MILLION, THREE HUNDRED FIFTY-THREE THOUSAND, SEVEN HUNDRED NINETY-ONE and ³⁰/₁₀₀ (Php610,353,791.30), inclusive of all applicable taxes and fees.

You are therefore required, within ten (10) calendar days from the receipt of this Notice of Award, to:

1. Formally enter into contract with BCDA, provided that all the documentary requirements shall form part of the Contact for the aforementioned project are complied with, to wit:

1. 1. Construction Schedule and S-Curve;
   2. Manpower Schedule;
   3. Construction Methods;
   4. Equipment Utilization Schedule;
   5. Construction Safety and Health, Sanitation and Security Program;
   6. PERT/CPM;
   7. Contractor’s All-Risk Insurance; and
   8. Personal Accident Insurance.

2. Post a Performance Security denominated in Philippine Pesos in the form and in the amount stipulated in Section 39.2 of the revised IRR of RA 9184, which shall be posted in favor of BCDA and which shall remain valid until the issuance of Certificate of Final Acceptance.

Failure to enter into said contract and/or provide the Performance Security shall constitute sufficient ground for cancellation of the award.
