SAN FERNANDO CITY, La Union — The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) on Monday turned over newly-constructed apartments for use of the Philippine Air Force (PAF) 580^th Aircraft Control and Warning Wing (ACWW) and their families.

The size of each of the 15-door airmen’s apartments was doubled from their previous 60-square-meter housing to 120 square meters. Each apartment has three bedrooms with built-in cabinets, storage and laundry areas, and a garage for two cars.

The new terminal of the Clark International Airport is the fastest infrastructure project to be implemented by the national government, setting the template for all other projects under the Build Build Build program, Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez III said during a site inspection Wednesday.

To be held at the SBMA Gym in the Subic Bay Freeport, the Build Build Build = Jobs Jobs Jobs Caravan was initiated to provide employment to the displaced workers of Hanjin Heavy Industries and Construction (HHIC) Philippines.

The “Build Build Build” team will gather around 70 employers from different contractors involved in the government’s infrastructure program, and companies within the Subic Bay Freeport Zone (SBFZ) for a Jobs Caravan on February 9, Saturday.

The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) and its partner MTD Philippines Inc. on Thursday held a symbolic topping-off ceremony at The Residences, a 525-unit condominium type housing in New Clark City for use of government employees and other locators.

As the government speeds up development of the sports facilities for the 30th South East Asian Games, the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) and its partner MTD Philippines Inc. recently introduced the SmarTracks—a tracking technology that documents performances of athletes real time. This new facility will soon be used in the Athletics Stadium in New Clark City, and is expected to benefit hundreds of athletes during the Games.
