In a major development for New Clark City, the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) welcomed the exciting expansion efforts of Hann Philippines, Inc. which include the first phase of a 10-hectare public park within the eco-luxury Hann Reserve, a 450-hectare resort destination.
The public park concept seamlessly blends the cultural heritage of Philippine folklore with the majestic beauty of Mount Pinatubo, creating an immersive space where nature and tradition harmoniously come together.
The park's design is divided into three unique phases: the Active Zone, the Passive Zone, and the Kids Zone. Phase 1, the Active Zone, draws inspiration from the flowing forms and contours of Mount Pinatubo, featuring dynamic landscapes with mountain bike trails, fitness areas, and elevated treetop bridges. This phase is scheduled for completion by the end of 2026.
Meanwhile, the Phase 2 Passive Zone will highlight shaded walkways, tranquil seating, and artistic sculptures in which visitors can relax and connect with nature. This zone is set to be completed by the end of 2028.
The vibrant Phase 3, the Kids Zone, is slated for completion by the end of 2030. This area blends playful, folklore-inspired stick structures with volcanic rock formations, sparking imagination and creativity featuring slides, climbing areas, and interactive elements.
BCDA President and CEO Joshua M. Bingcang viewed this development as a pivotal achievement in the continued progress of New Clark City, a flagship initiative that underscores the agency’s commitment to modern infrastructure.
“This park is a promise of a greener and healthier future for all our citizens. We believe that public spaces like these foster connection, well-being, and a sense of belonging. Let us appreciate and cherish this for generations to come,” Bingcang said.
He emphasized that the park is a symbol of both a vibrant, healthy environment and a key contributor to BCDA's mission of promoting well-being, community engagement, and sustainable environmental stewardship, all in line with the vision of building the nation's green, resilient, inclusive, and smart metropolis.
Hann Philippines Chairman and CEO Dae Sik Han echoed the statement saying that “Hann Reserve will attract both local and international lifestyle seekers of golf, wellness, nature-based leisure, and entertainment. This public park will add to their exceptional experiences.”
The groundbreaking ceremony was graced by BCDA President Bingcang, BCDA Vice President for Strategic Project Management Engr.
