The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Japanese corporations to develop key features of the planned Clark Green City, one of the agency’s flagship projects, as part of President Rodrigo Duterte’s state visit to Japan.

The state-owned Bases Conversion Development Authority (BCDA) has generated P60.21 billion in disposition proceeds for the period May 1993 to end-December 2013 or a P3.5 billion increase from the P56.70 billion it generated from May 1993 to end-December 2012 from the disposition of former Metro Manila camps the biggest of which are Fort Bonifacio and Villamor Airbase.

In the spirit of transparency and cooperation with the citizenry, BCDA is sharing the MOUs signed by the agency and Chinese companies for its four (4) #bigticket projects in mass transport and smart city solutions.

The projects: the #SubicClarkRailway, the BGC to NAIA3 #busrapidtransit, and #ClarkGreenCity township, and smart/safe city projects.

President Rodrigo Duterte's administration will soon launch the biggest infrastructure push in Philippine history to propel economic growth in the next five-and-a-half years.

Big-ticket infrastructure projects, specifically roads and bridges, mass urban transport and alternative green city solutions are among the key investments to be made by the Philippine government. The event highlights discussion on the Clark Infrastructure Development Plan in pursuit of regional development as anchored in President Rodrigo R. Duterte’s 10-point Socioeconomic Agenda which gives premium to inclusive growth and infrastructure development.
