BCDA, Tarlac to develop 47-ha technology hub in New Clark City

The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) and the Provincial Government of Tarlac have forged a strategic partnership, which will pave the way for the development of a 47-hectare technology hub in New Clark City.

On 11 August 2023, BCDA President and Chief Executive Officer Joshua M. Bingcang and Tarlac Governor Susan A. Yap signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) for the development of a 47-hectare property in New Clark City. BCDA Executive Vice President Atty. Gisela Z. Kalalo and Tarlac Vice Governor Atty. Carlito S. David served as witnesses.

BCDA starts bid process for NAS Phase 2

The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) has launched the bidding process for the second phase of the National Academy of Sports (NAS) campus in New Clark City, aiming to develop more facilities that will help nurture the country’s future athletes.

In separate bid bulletins posted on its website, the BCDA called for the submission of bids and eligibility documents for the design and build, as well as the construction management and supervision for NAS Phase 2.

Over 2K Asia Pacific athletes head to New Clark City for 2023 Spartan Stadion

Around 2,500 obstacle course race (OCR) athletes across Asia Pacific will gather once again at the iconic New Clark City Athletics Stadium in Tarlac on Saturday, July 15, as they vie for race supremacy at this year’s Spartan Stadion race.

The battle to be champion–a 5K, 20 obstacle race triggering a grueling yet glorifying test of physical power and mental toughness akin to the fabled Spartan warrior ethos of ancient Greece.
